Pot Cheese / Farmer Cheese Just Like Bubbe Made 2

Ingredients

1 gallon whole milk 

1/4 cup distilled white vinegar

Flour sack cloth

Stock pot 

 

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Heat the whole milk in the stock pot over a medium flame. Stir continuously to prevent scorching.

Step 2

When the milk starts to bubble add the vinegar, continuing to stir. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Place the flour sack into a colander and pour the curds gently into the cloth.  Gather the ends and rinse in cool water.

Step 4

Salt to taste and serve.
