Pot Cheese Just Like Bubbe Made 1
Ingredients
1 gallon whole unpasteurized milk with the fat floating on top
Flour sack cloth
Glass jar / Milk bottle / Mason jar
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Put the milk into the jar. Leave the lid loose and place it in an out-of-the-way spot on your counter.
Step 2
Let the jar sit for a day or two until the milk begins to sour and separate from the liquids.
Step 3
Pour through the flour sack catching the curds. Rinse with cool water and serve as you would cottage cheese.
